Kerala Houseboat

This night was spent on one of the famous Kerala house boat tours. Liz and I were also celebrating a year and a half already. The houseboat had a private room and a deck where we ate our meals. It had 3 crew including a chef who made us lunch, dinner, and breakfast. The ride was nice and we went through many little channels and waterways surrounding a town called Allepy. At night, we docked at a grassy shoreline and watched the sun set into the clouds. We slept peacefully, yet extremely warmly in our mosquito net covered bed and woke up to the rooster crowing at first light. The whole houseboat thing is a must do in Kerala.
