Charminar, Laad Bazaar, and Touch

So, we went out this evening to see the Charminar, which is a four tower structure next to the very scenic hospital and high court of Hyderabad. There was a mosque next to the Charminar where you can walk around in your bare feet. Unfortunately there are pigeons everywhere and this is the dirtiest sacred place I have ever been to. It's ironic that you have to take your shoes off to keep the place clean and then walk through bird shit. Good thing Liz had some wet ones for us.
Later, we checked out the Bazaar, with a bunch of shops, all of which sold bangles, bangles, and more bangles. Liz bought an Indian outfit and then we got out of there. There were so many people around that I was getting quite uncomfortable. You have to walk down the street and dodge cars, bikes, and other pedestrians. The whole place is chaos, and I was glad to leave.
In the evening, we hooked up with Franklin for a little clubbing. There was a place called touch which was pretty fun. They had an upscale crowd and a lot of good music. There was everything from traditional Indian dance music to old school hip hop. Liz looked mighty fine there, and I was able to snap a few pictures.
